Yoga Teacher Trainer
Jolene Bayda
It wasn’t until her sister dragged her to her first yoga class in 2000 that she entered the formal world of yoga. For years she dabbled in different styles and intensities. In the midst of completing a 350 hour Traditional Thai Massage program in 2003, she was introduced to Hatha Yoga, and only then was awakened to the joy and power, of being present on the mat. Diving into the science of yoga, she began her formal training in 2005 with shakti mhi at Prana Yoga and received certification in Classical Hatha. Expanding her education and passion, she has since received Yin Yoga Certification, Vinyasa Certification and continues to study the art of yoga and the science of energy with teachers who inspire her locally and internationally.
Jolene’s approach to yoga is ever-evolving, just as the natural flow of life is ever changing. She invites her students to use yoga to unlock repetitive and habitual patterns in the body and mind that cause pain, restriction, and imbalance. Join her on a journey through the physical body as she guides you along a creative flow of Hatha and Yin postures, while embodying breath as a tool to unlock the bodies daily response to stress, tension, and physical exertion.
